Neon Slipstream
★★★★☆ 4.3
Neon Slipstream is pure arcade racing with no pretense of realism. You tilt or tap to steer through neon-soaked tracks, chaining drifts to build a boost meter that keeps you glued to the leaders. It's loud, fast and completely unserious in the best way.
The sense of speed is the real star. The tracks blur past, the music thumps along, and nailing a long drift around a hairpin feels fantastic. I settled on tap steering after a while — it's more precise than tilt once the speed picks up.
There's a decent chunk of content too, with new tracks and cars that handle noticeably differently. It won't replace a console racer, but for a quick dose of speed in your pocket it does the job and looks gorgeous doing it.
