About
Drift Lab started as a group chat where four friends kept swapping screenshots of weird little games nobody else was talking about. At some point we figured we should just write it all down, so here we are. No corporate backing, no press junkets — just people who like playing on the bus and arguing about controls.,Every game we cover gets played properly. That means more than ten minutes and a screenshot. If a game needs a few hours to show its hand, we give it that time before we say anything. We'd rather publish late than publish lazy.,We pick games by instinct and tips from readers. Something catches our eye in a store listing, a friend sends a link, or someone emails us. Genre doesn't matter — we'll happily spend a week on a farming sim one month and a twitchy arcade shooter the next.,Nobody pays us to feature a game, and we don't take review fees. If that ever changes we'll say so loudly at the top of the page. For now it's a hobby that got slightly out of hand, and we like it that way.
Lukas Brenner — Lukas has been playing games on whatever device he could afford since the early 2000s. He handles most of our longer reviews and argues about frame rates more than is healthy.
