Lantern Hollow

Lantern Hollow is a cozy adventure game about wandering a quiet town, talking to its odd residents and untangling a handful of gentle mysteries. There's no fail state and no pressure — just exploration and curiosity.

The puzzles are mostly logical rather than obscure, the kind where you poke around, notice something, and go 'oh, of course.' A built-in hint system nudges you if you're stuck, which I appreciated more than my pride wants to admit.

What stays with me is the atmosphere. Hand-painted backgrounds, a soft soundtrack and writing full of warm little character moments. It's a game to play slowly on a rainy evening, and it earns that relaxed pace.
